On March 25th, 2026, Signature Homes celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Richard H. Plaster Bridge and the receipt of AB 540/NAHA funding for their Paradise Trails community in central Las Vegas, marking an important milestone for attainable housing in Southern Nevada.
The event brought together state and local leaders, including Governor Joe Lombardo, Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom, Southern Nevada Home Builders Association CEO Tina Frias, along with community partners and industry stakeholders. The new bridge provides critical access to the 29-home infill community, connecting the neighborhood to Twain Avenue and surrounding residential areas.
Paradise Trails represents the first community to deploy funding through Nevada’s AB 540 housing initiative, which was created to expand access to homeownership for working families. Through a combination of state-supported down payment assistance and builder-sponsored incentives, the program is designed to help address affordability challenges across the region.
Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of collaboration between builders, local government, and state leadership in delivering attainable housing solutions. Governor Lombardo highlighted the project as an example of how new housing policies are translating into real opportunities for Nevada families, while Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom noted the role of infrastructure and infill development in strengthening established neighborhoods.
The bridge dedication also honored Richard H. Plaster, recognizing his long-standing commitment to building communities that create opportunities for Nevada residents.
With homes designed to balance attainable pricing and long-term value, including features such as included solar to help reduce operating costs, Paradise Trails reflects Signature Homes’ continued focus on delivering practical pathways to homeownership.
