Richard Plaster

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Richard Plaster is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Signature Homes Las Vegas, with over 30 years of experience in the home building and real estate industries.

In 1978, Richard Plaster formed Plaster Development Company, Inc. and Nevpro, Inc., a licensed Nevada real estate brokerage firm specializing in new home sales. The company adopted the marketing name Signature Homes to reflect the company's philosophy of accountability and quality artistry. Since then, Signature Homes has been known as one of the oldest privately held local homebuilders and real estate companies, building more than thirteen thousand homes, condominiums, and apartments throughout the Las Vegas Valley!

As the Founder and Chief Executive, Richard Plaster is highly respected for his ability to build flexibility into his business plans and devise new land planning concepts that achieve the highest and best use of assets to meet existing market needs. Richard employs an economist's approach in his astute analysis of historical industry data, enabling him to identify future market trends. In addition, Mr. Plaster plans to bridge the past with the present by breathing life into a new renaissance of Signature Homes, by building quality homes with craftsmanship, and a growing a successful team to match the needs of the current housing demand.

Before Signature, Richard's initial professional experience was working for what became one of the largest privately held home building companies in the United States - Lewis Homes. At that time, the firm was relatively small, so Richard had the opportunity of a high level of interaction with two generations of the Lewis family. Richard was tutored in the business by experts and in charge of sales, marketing, and land acquisition. He was with Lewis from September 1973 until June 1978. Shortly after, Richard struck out on his own and formed Plaster Development Company, Inc.

As head of the largest privately-owned homebuilder in Southern Nevada, Richard is always looking to the future of development in the growing Las Vegas market. Today Signature Homes has plans to develop and build over a dozen new communities spanning throughout the Las Vegas Valley with a projection of over 200 homes built over the next two years and further expansion beyond.

Richard was elected president of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association in 1989 and president of the Homeowners Warranty (HOW) Council from 1985 to 1990. He has been National Representative for The State of Nevada to the National Association of Home Builders. He is currently active on the boards of the Southern Nevada Homebuilders, Meadows School, Nevada Ballet Theatre, and the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Richard is a proud father of three and a grandfather of four. He began Signature working closely with his late and beloved wife, Wendy Plaster.

Mr. Plaster earned his Bachelor of Arts in behavioral psychology from Stanford University and his MBA in economics from The University of California Berkeley. As an MBA student, Richard spent nine months working with the Indian Institute of Public Administration in New Delhi, India.

Brian Plaster

Vice President of Multi-Family Acquisitions

Brian Plaster is the Vice President of Multi-Family Acquisitions at Signature Management. Mr. Plaster has spent his entire career in the construction, renovation, and property management real estate industries. Brian has previously served as President of Signature Custom Homes as well as Vice President of Operations for Signature Homes.

As the Vice President of Multi-Family Acquisitions, Brian Plaster oversees and leads the Signature Management team in the business operations, property acquisitions, community development, marketing, community renovations, and fiscal accountability. Mr. Plaster uses his innovation, local‐industry knowledge, and extensive hands-on construction experience to create successful properties throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Brian Plaster is a senior board member of the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association and is still an active board member. Mr. Plaster is avid trail runner, a marathon champion, and has competed in numerous ultra-distance races up to 100 km. Brian has used his racing platform to raise more than $40,000 for HomeAid of Southern Nevada as well as ill Signature employees. Mr. Plaster’s favorite activity is snowboarding in deep, steep powder and can be found at Lee Canyon during the winter months. In his personal time Brian likes to travel off the grid with his family as well as exploring big cities and uses travel as a source of inspirations to bring back ideas to Signature properties in Las Vegas. When Brian isn’t traveling, he enjoys working in his garden and doesn’t miss a day without his meditation practice. Brian has been happily married to Maggie Plaster, a Deputy Director with the City of Las Vegas for 17 years. He is a proud father of two musically talented children.

Mr. Plaster holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources from the University of South Sewanee, Tennessee. As well as a Master of Science in Geography from Texas State University (San Marcos, TX).

Rick Barron

President

Rick Barron is the President of Signature Homes Las Vegas with over 25 years of experience in the homebuilding and real estate industries.

Signature Homes Las Vegas is one of the oldest privately held homebuilders and real estate companies in Las Vegas, Nevada, founded by The Plaster Development Company, Inc in 1978. The company has built more than thirteen thousand homes, condominiums, and apartments in the Las Vegas Valley.

As President, Rick Barron leads Signature Homes Business Operations through strategic planning, team building and successfully delivering results.

Prior to Signature, Rick primarily focused on acquiring, designing, and developing new home communities in Southern Nevada. Rick previously served as the Senior Vice President of Land for Century Communities, and Vice President of Community Development for KB Home.

Today Signature Homes has plans to develop and build over a dozen new communities spanning throughout the Las Vegas Valley with a projection of over 200 homes built over the next two years and further expansion beyond.

Rick is an avid supporter of the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association, where he is incredibly proud to have served as the Association's President for 2021. He chairs the Association’s Community Planning and Infrastructure Committee. He was recognized as the Association's Builder Member of the Year in 2008 and 2017. He has participated in multiple charities for the Las Vegas Community, such as HomeAid and Habitat for Humanity.

After graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Rick began his professional career in land surveying and civil engineering before starting his first job in the homebuilding industry with Astoria Homes.

Tom George

Chief Financial Officer

Tom George is the Chief Financial Officer of Signature Homes Las Vegas, bringing to us over 28 years of experience in real estate development and management.

As CFO, Tom is integrally involved with the feasibility, due diligence, and acquisition of every venture with Signature Homes. His technical knowledge and preparation of detailed financial models for lending institutions and investors have attributed to successful financial structures for their many projects. In addition, he is responsible for all aspects of human resources, risk management, loan management, and financial forecasting/reporting for the company.

Prior to Signature, Tom served as CFO/Director of Multi-Family Operations and Property Management and later Principal of The Midby Companies located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tom established and maintained all aspects of the company’s internal controls, worked in all aspects of acquisition/development, and facilitated all financial reporting to its many lenders and institutional partners while undergoing expansion into multiple markets. During his tenure at The Midby Companies, his team focused on the multi-family and self-storage sectors of the industry, with projects ranging in value up to $400 million.

Tom began his career in real estate working in the capacity of CFO and COO of a privately held property management company for over ten years, directing financial, cash flow, and operational management for a portfolio consisting of 43 apartment communities, more than 11,000 multi-family units, with annual revenues more than $50,000,000 per year and reporting to over 228 investors.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wyoming.

Eddie Duenas

Vice President of Land

Edward (Eddie) Duenas, is the Vice President of Land for Signature Homes, with over 25 years of experience in the land development industry.

Signature Homes Las Vegas is one of the oldest privately held homebuilders and real estate companies in Las Vegas, Nevada, founded by The Plaster Development Company, Inc in 1978. The company has built more than thirteen thousand homes, condominiums, and apartments in the Las Vegas Valley.

As Vice President of Land, Eddie oversees and manages the entire land department. Additionally, Eddie has the pleasure of running all aspects of land, including Civil Engineering, Forward Planning, and Development for Signature Homes.

Before Signature, Eddie's professional career started in 1996 when he joined Civitec Engineering as an AutoCAD draftsman. As Eddie honed his skills in Civil Design and forward planning, there was demand throughout the Valley. More and more Engineers needed qualified designers to help fill the pipeline for homebuilders as they ramped up for the impending boom. So, for the next nine years, Eddie graduated from Draftsman to being the 1st unlicensed Project Manager for G. C. Wallace Engineering. During those nine years, Eddie benefited from being employed by several Civil Engineering firms working on residential and commercial projects in Las Vegas, Utah, Arizona, and even Kona, Hawaii.

It was not until 2004 when Signature's Division President, Rick Barron, approached Eddie to come and work with him at Astoria Homes. That is when his Homebuilding journey began. He worked with three significant builders over the next 18 years before joining the Signature team.

Eddie is from Colorado Springs, Colorado but has called Las Vegas home for the past 34 years. He is a proud husband and father of four. Eddie is an active supporter of the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association and HomeAid Southern Nevada.

Andrew Torgersen

Vice President of Sales

Meet Andrew Torgersen, Vice President of Sales at Signature Homes. Andrew has over 5 years of experience in the new homes real estate industry and is a proud member of the Signature family.

As Vice President of Sales, Andrew serves as the lead point person in creating a dynamic sales department and is an integral part of the success of Signature Homes. Andrew utilizes his expertise and knowledge of the industry to develop and implement systems, and strategies to ensure the best possible customer experience while scaling sales during the growth of Signature Homes.

Prior to Signature, Andrew was part of the sales team for a major public builder and was recognized for setting best practices to streamline the sales process and maximize customer satisfaction. With the solidified reputation of the brand, Andrew is excited to be part of the team and take part in the expansion of Signature Homes throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Today Signature Homes has plans to develop and build over a dozen new communities spanning throughout the Las Vegas Valley with a projection of over 200 homes built over the next two years and further expansion beyond.

Andrew has been a Las Vegas resident for over 25 years and is a proud Husband and Father of 3. He is a graduate of UNLV College of Business and an active supporter of the UNLV Foundation and Alumni Association.

Rosemary Nagy

Director of Marketing & Information Systems

Rosemary Nagy is the Director of Marketing and Information Systems at Signature Homes Las Vegas, with over 18 years of experience in the home building, property management, and real estate industries.

Signature Homes Las Vegas is one of the oldest privately held homebuilders and real estate companies in Las Vegas, Nevada, founded by The Plaster Development Company, Inc in 1978. The company has built more than thirteen thousand homes, condominiums, and apartments in the Las Vegas Valley.

As Director of Marketing & Information Systems, Rosemary Nagy leads Signature Homes in the company's overall marketing strategies, operational marketing procedures, and fiscal budgeting. In addition, Mrs. Nagy directs and oversees the implementation of the company's software systems and IT security protocols.

In 2004, Rosemary Nagy started her career with Signature as the Software Manager, then in 2012 her role took on additional responsibilities which included marketing for the Signature Management division of the company as the Information Systems and Marketing Manager. Signature Management specializes in multi-family and single-family rental homes, currently managing a portfolio of over 1300 homes throughout Las Vegas. Rosemary previously served as a Data Analyst for Aon Risk Services, a multinational professional business consultancy firm.

Today Signature Homes has plans to develop and build over a dozen new communities spanning throughout the Las Vegas Valley with a projection of over 200 homes built over the next two years and further expansion beyond. With the increase of homes being built, Mrs. Nagy has also earned her Real Estate License with The State of Nevada so that she may jump in when system protocols, sales development, or real estate marketing-related aspects are needed.

Rosemary is a proud wife and mother of 3. In her spare time, Rosemary is a piano accompanist for music majors at LVA. She also enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and camping.

Mrs. Nagy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Northern Arizona University and was a member of the Harter Memorial Handbell Choir and Accompanist for the Woman's Chorale.

Keith Kammer

Director of Construction & Purchasing

Keith Kammer is the Director of Construction and Purchasing at Signature Homes Las Vegas, with over 40 years of experience in the homebuilding and construction industry.

Signature Homes Las Vegas is one of the oldest privately held homebuilders and real estate companies in Las Vegas, Nevada, founded by The Plaster Development Company, Inc in 1978. The company has built more than thirteen thousand homes, condominiums, and apartments in the Las Vegas Valley.

As Director of Construction and Purchasing - Keith Kammer directs the day-to-day activity of construction and purchasing, creating budgets, negotiating contracts while developing lasting partnerships. Quality and safety are priorities while maintaining excellence within the parameter of the Signature Homes business model.

Prior to Signature, Keith began his hands-on construction experience at the age of 14. In the early 1990's he eventually began working for multiple well-known local builders throughout the Las Vegas Valley and quickly moved up the ladder as a Superintendent. Keith Kammer joined Signature Homes Las Vegas as a Superintendent in 2002. During his duration with the company, he found himself once again moving up the ladder, landing himself in a lead role overseeing the Signature Team in the direction of construction and purchasing.

Keith is your quintessential outdoorsy person and boating enthusiast. You would most likely find him boating at Lake Mead or traveling when not at Signature. Colleagues, family, and friends can always call Keith for guidance on home renovations and construction-related projects. Keith is proud to lend his knowledge when needed.

Keith's construction degree came from an extensive hands-on learning experience provided by his mentor – his uncle. Starting at the age of 14, his uncle provided him with daily construction lessons in the field, construction books to read, and consistent studies on how to read and understand architectural plans. As a result, Keith Kammers over 40 years of construction experience serves as a testament to the valuable knowledge gained by his uncle today.
